Welcome to Catalogue 211, Sep 2018. Apologies for missing the last one (Aug) but we’d taken ourselves to Canada and the US. Spent most of the time playing with grand kids and watching them rush about playing baseball. What fun!! Also got the chance to ‘inspect’ Toby’s university at Oswego (State Uni of NY). A beautiful town Oswego, right on Lake Ontario.

E books may be the future of new books but not for me and a few stout hearts out there who treasure the tactile nature of a book. In the meantime we continue to scour the nooks and crannies to find the ‘raries’. There are still many collectors out there who continue to put their collections together. In the field of military history, the collecting of ALL the battalion histories from WW1, WW2 and Vietnam continue—it’s like the Quest for the Holy Grail for some although most of those collectors have gone off to their reward. Of course, anyone chasing these books can call me and I can set the hares running, as it were!! As usual this list is dedicated to the serving soldier, sailor and airman who may find themselves in harms way and to those who’ve gone before. Our hearts go out to families who may have lost a treasured member and we are always with you. Via con Dios Mick and Jo
