Welcome to the very last catalogue from the Malone’s.
IMPRIMATUR BOOKS will be handed over to the safe hands of Jim and Julie Phillipps and will set up in Canberra in the coming months. We have included a note from Jim in the catalogue. It’s been a hard but pleasant slog for 32 years. We’ve enjoyed it immensely, meeting some amazing people, and had huge satisfaction in connecting collectors and students of history with often rare and extraordinary books. It has certainly kept me focused—as did COVID. The last few years of isolation has led me to my new vocation—full-time writer. TWO RANKS ON THE ROAD is my 4th title and my 5th and 6th are in the pipeline. CRAZY BRAVE: THE PETER BADCOE, VC story is nearing completion as is my own childhood memoir (zero to 19) HAIL MARY, THE CREEKS UP nearly finished. You’ll hopefully see them in the Imprimatur Books catalogue in the future.
We are in the process of printing a hardback version of TWO RANKS with dust wrappers. There will be a print run of 50 only books—numbered and signed. Price $85 plus postage. If interested please call and I’ll include you on the list. Or you can prepurchase on the website. There are some great books in this final catalogue—as usual—the good ones go fast. TWO RANKS seems to be a fitting way of signing off from IMPRIMATUR BOOKS which will live on in the capable hands of Jim and Julie.
