Revised ed, 8vo in d/w, honour roll, honours and awards (MM to Sgt Bert Chowne who went on to win the VC as an officer in the 2/2nd Bn AIF in NG), pp434, **the 2/13th Bn, 20th Bde, 9th Div, AIF was one of the most heavily credentialled of Australia’s fighting units. The only unit to serve through the Tobruk Siege and went on to distinguish itself at El Alamein and the New Guinea and Borneo Campaigns, (NX57 14 Ned Malone (my father) was a digger in this outfit, WIA twice) vg cond and very scarce.
