In these blogs it is my aim to discuss the essence of military book collecting in Australia. Imprimatur Books has been in business for nearly 20 years and in that time I've dealt with most of the 'old heads' in the military book collecting business.

I appreciated the reaction and comments to #1. I'd ask that bloggers limit there musings to around 50 words - makes it all easier to manage. Besides my 'moderator' is quite ruthless!

Book collectors will tell you that it is one of the most satisfying activities one can get involved in especially when that 'holy grail' is found AND is affordable. I use the term 'holy grail'(HG) to describe a few of the rare books in military collecting.

There are many threads to book collecting - this one is concerned with environments, storage and conservation.
